The idea of a community garden sounded really good. A garden that can be planted at Roundtown, cared for by classmates, family, & friends in order to donate the harvested vegetables to the local food pantry!

Mr. Cook, a Master Gardener shared what type of location would be ideal for growing vegetables. He shared information about where the garden could be, what it takes to prepare a garden, and what it takes to maintain a garden.
Before preparing the ground, two soil samples were conducted. The first one gave great results!
